land of the lost

working...
if you were maybe thinking that i was off on some sort of lovely vacation, um i wasnt. yeah, i have been in the lab for the last week sorting lithics. fun stuff let me tell you. and to top it off, the only computer in the place is one of those really old ones that has a foot pedal to keep it running. just kidding, but not by much. just wanted to pop in and say that i miss all you lovely people in the blog world. luckily i havent had all of my crafting soul sucked out quite yet. last night was craft night again with my friends, and while i didnt craft anything per say (unless you count oatmeal cherry cookies) i did finish a monumental feat. behold...
done and done
most of my fabric has been washed, ironed and folded!!! praise the lord. it really was something that needed to be done. and i feel so much better and almost, dare i say, organized? ok, lets not go that far. back to lithics. isnt archaeology so glamorous? oh yes da'ling....

ahhhh - it is glamorous! especially to those of us who don't really know all the hard (mundane?) work it involves (i was drawn to art conservation for the glamour / romance of the idea - oooh sadly mistaken. reality isn't so good sometimes!!)

can't wait to see where those piles of yummy fabric take you!
