a little something for

i found you
sweet molly of mommycoddle! thank you everyone for your lovely comments. so glad im not the only one with ideas droning through my head. actually i was pleased to see molly's name come out of the hat (well, nemo lunch box) because i met molly through a drawing she had on her blog. i love how things come full circle.

anyway, our weekend was full and unfull. you know? the big kids stayed the weekend with grandma, so we just had some quality arlo time. so nice. maybe i can convince my mom to rotate out one kid a weekend.
hmmmm... i did have some time to stop by alicia's house and meet a whole bunch of kc blog ladies. hi ladies! sorry i didnt have more time to stay and that i came with a full belly because dang, that table of food looked good. and i finally finally picked up the serger from jenny. woot! now, what can i serge? huh? give me something, anything. maybe i can shorten all those tshirts i have but dont wear because they are so long on me! seems like a good test because who cares about tshirts?

ok, so obviously this post it turning into a bunch of randomness, but i did want to give a shout out to all my jayhawk lovers. david and i are going to the KU/OU game tomorrow night. did you know i like college basketball? its true. kind of shocking huh? i fully admit to being a fair weather fan. the secret bonus for tomorrow night? the drive to and from lawrence, an hour and a half of quality time conversation with david. you hear that david? get read for some heart to heart. i bet he is groaning right now.

at first i thought you meant 'jayhawks' the band and i thought, "man..." but it's the jayhawks i don't care about.

i found some leftover wallpaper (of the dozens of layers i peeled out of this house) behind a curtain. picture forthcoming.

I like the college b-ball, too. (I actually root against KU though. Sorry. Go Indiana!)

It was good to finally meet you Saturday! Have fun with the serger. Let's see some knits!
