let's begin

let's begin
2008. a new year.

are you ready? i am.

this year i will:
have a 2 year old,
a 4 year old,
a 6 year old,
celebrate 10 years of being married,
make more things,
buy less things,
move more,
idle less,
try new things,
go somewhere new,
visit an old friend,
make new friends,
write letters,
make cookies,
take walks,
fly a kite!,
be happy,
be sad,
be ok with both,
smile more,
laugh even more,
dance more,
jump rope,
cartwheel,
read more,
sleep better,
stretch,
drink water,
take vitamins,
join a csa,
spruce up the house,
shoot more film,
frame and hang more art,
start yoga again,
basically just live.

how about you?

Hey Hannah! I ran across your site through Amy Middaugh's site. It is beautiful!!! Your children are absolutely breathtaking. I was looking through your film pictures on flicker. My husband is a photographer and he took me out for my first film shoot on Saturday. It was fun and has peeked my interest. It was fun to see your pictures! I hope you all are doing grand!

So glad I found you via Orangette.

Huffmania is such a happening place. Can't wait to check out your archives.

Me too re: 'smile more'...I have a 3 yr old and a 1.5 yr old and the 1.5 yr old was colicky for 12 mos, and well, you're a mom, you know, despite the deep love I was in a lot of pain and my smile took a back seat to her sister, 'survival'.
