the baby blues

that arlo, she's got the baby blues
apparently you can have the flu with no cold symptoms. poor sweet arlo has had a fever since friday. we finally went into urgent care yesterday and six hours later emerged with a diagnosis. flu. ugh. i am just waiting for it to smite the rest of the house. see you all again sometime in march... uh, hopefully not. right?

That is always my biggest worry...that it will travel amongst the family. Ugh. And with David always working at the hospital I am convince he is always going to bring some funky bug home.

Oh, sweet Arlo...you + the boys could have your own little harmonica band. ;)

And we've been struck with a yucky bug...AGAIN. Yes, see you in March my friend....

Poor Arlo, so sorry she's sick. (Wow, Hannah, she looks so big to me here.) I remember the last time our whole house was sick. I stayed healthy long enough to spend the day getting the others hydrated, comfortable, and under control. That night, after everyone finally fell asleep, I finally got it, but I kept thinking how amazing it was I stayed healthy in order to help everyone else out. Weird how I just remembered that whole story. Hope your turns out much better. xo

Oh, yes. My Eliot was struck yesterday. Mr. Lethargic. And today I'm feeling a little achey. Lotta good that flu shot did. Fingers crossed for the house of Huffmaina.

Just passed it along to my daughter on Saturday after fighting with the intestinal portion for 10 days. She's on day four- seemed better all morning and then another wave hit. This sucks! It's not just a short flu, it's the splendid "10 day flu." Lucky us. Good lucky to you all.
