thirty one feels
good. real good. new shoes, new museum, thai, and a movie with my favorite person, makes for a really great day. what isnt so good is falling down the back steps the next day and spending three days in bed with the hot water bottle. but today mostly feel like i am thirty one again and not the shuffling 81 i was over the weekend. a couple bruises and a back ache later and things are back to normal. it is a good thing that it would be completely improper to post a picture of my bum because it has a huge disgusting black bruise on it right now. awesome. anyway. i would like to say happy birthday to the two lovely mcclain ladies, and happy birthday to vikkie in eight days.

sounds like the perfect minus the fall. hope your back and bum are feeling better!
youch!! i've had huge painful bruises on the top backs of my legs from stupidly jumping off a cliff into water in a sitting position (not on purpose, of course) and that was super uncomfortable, but at least there were slight ways around it. hopefully, you're over the worst and made it through work yesterday without wanting to shoot anyone. :)
So glad you had a great birthday. When you come out this fall we can wear our matching yellow SW sandals...hee hee..or maybe not.

You always have the cutest colored shoes, the green ones, and now these yellow ones. I'm wondering what you wear with them; what's on the top half of your body? I lean heavily on black shoes, and I look longingly at colored shoes, but never know how to pull it off.
