remember me?

i have actually been downstairs doing things in my craft room. what i have not been doing is taking pictures, which drives me crazy. i made a lovely coin pouch for my papersource manager. she just moved to seattle to start up a new super store there. the idea was to make a care package for her 29 hour drive, and if there is one thing i cant stand, its not having change for tolls. drives me crazy. i learned the hard way after living in chicago for six months. you must have change in your car at all times! in theory a friend is sending me a picture of the pouch that she snapped. we shall see. what else? i have been thinking christmas!! it seems to early, but i really would like to give all hand made gifts this year. this may sound cost effective, but that is not always the case. right now i am really liking the idea of making flannel pj bottoms for everyone. i have it from sewing authority amy k that this is in fact not a crazy idea, and she says, and i quote, "it's easy!". im sure its easy for someone who makes beautiful dresses for her daughter and cool pants. i will let you know if it ends up being the case for me. i have a little sewing project to work on tonight, i cant say much about it because it is a birthday present for a friend of mine, and i know she lurks around here. i will take pictures this time, i swear!

since i have no craft pictures to share, i can always indulge in some huffster pictures. david has been making excellent use of the digital camera lately. as evidenced below.

eliot called me at the office the other day and said he missed me. so as a solution i told him to have dad take some funny pictures and email them. i got robot head and lonely robot as a result.

collette cant seem to get enough of walking around outside while wearing shoes. and speaking of lovely dresses, this one came straight from kingpod and the amazing amy. that dress is so cute it hurts. it really does. another item that is so cute it hurts? im going to have to go with these birdie robeezs. kelly posted these a few months ago. i never had any for eliot or collette, but i am thinking the third time around, these are a must. right? actually, i think the robeez would make excellent slippers for eliot and collette this winter. our house gets pretty chilly, and it is hard to get eliot to keep his slippers on. maybe with a pair of robot robeez it wouldnt take so much coercing. amanda asked me how i was doing, and i have to say im feeling pretty good for 19 weeks. its hard to believe that i am practically halfway done! maybe i will get a few belly shots in for all you naysayers that think i dont have a belly yet. its there believe me, i know and the rubber band keeping my pants buttoned know. not to mention the zipper that is hanging on for dear life! its time to drag that bag of maternity yuckness up from the basement again. you know, i dont mind regular maternity clothes, its the "work" clothes that just make me furious. and i know that i blame the clothes for the fact that i have to sit here at work instead of being at home in my comfy yoga pants or maternity jeans or whatever. so i apologize maternity work khakies for treating you with such vehemence. but i still hate you...

I was thinking about making pajama pants also. There are so many cute flannel and fleece designs. I would like to hear how it goes for you. I am not a very good seamstress.

You def. don't look halfway through pregnancy!
