weekend of no labor

a big thank you to clark and kerry for sponsoring huffmania (sans david) this weekend in columbia! we had a great time checking out some cool parks, and perfect weather. i think collette and eliot had the most fun climbing all over clark. just a guess though. we did have quite the time at a huuuuge park called cosmopolitan park, and i had the forethought to grab my camera. biggest attraction? gigantic tubeslides.

definitely fun for children and adults alike. we also had a picnic at a small lake west (?) of town and had the good fortune to run into an experienced grandpa that had an extra fishing pole. eliot was delighted and amazingly patient! note to self, take the kid fishing again soon.


he loved it! we kept mentally willing a fish to get caught on his hook, but they were not cooperating. and since i cant resist, one last picture of collette.


i uploaded some more park pics in my flickr account. some are a little out of focus, but i kinda like it that way. besides, i can just say they are arty...
