any tips out there on how to teach a 5-yr-old to tie his shoes?
Sorry David, this is why we still try to go the velcro route. =)

love these. :) as for shoe tying...as a former preschool/kindergarten teacher i recommend teaching it in small steps. so teach the first step and then have him do the first step and you do the rest. then introduce the next step, etc.
what i want to know is where you found the sunshine in the past two days?! Topeka has seen absolutely NO yellow brightness since sunday. love the kicks though.
Start teaching a younger sibling how to tie their shoes! Jeremy never cared about tying his shoes until he saw Bryan doing it! They both started tying their shoes on the same day! :?)
