yes. just what i needed this week. thank you andrea for kicking off a great week. a full seven days no less. and i second the notion that yellow was invented to start the day off right. amen. of course i couldnt resist the newest bit of yellow in my life. feel free to join in this week.

friday::red

this is swimmy. actually this is swimmy II, the first swimmy was found on the floor one morning as a dried up piece of beta jerky after collette scooped him out of his bowl some time in the night. poor swimmy. swimmy II lives up high on a bookshelf now. he is much safer. so far swimmy II is our only pet, but eliot has taken to asking for a dog lately. i have been able to hold him off with the "our house is too small for five people, we cant have a dog too, maybe someday when we get a bigger house" excuse. i wonder how long that will last?

thank you julie for this week of color, it has been fun to look around the house and see what everyone else has shared. have a great weekend all. i heard the forecast on the radio say that kc is supposed to get flurries and slushy snow tonight. stupid. just stupid. i wish i was sitting here sharing a cup of tea with tracy. someday t?

do you think we are born knowing the sound of chalk on a chalkboard? i love this chalk, i have to tell myself it isnt candy because it sure does look like candy. collette must of thought so too, because there are little nibble marks on one corner. happy wednesday everyone.
