today
is the first day of summer vacation. in honor of such a day, we took our three beasts to the zoo. and we walked and walked and walked and then ate ice cream. and rode the train. pretty much a great day. and a great start. summer i am so ready for you. (and hells yes to not making a lunch tonight for eliot!) now, it's time to dust off the sprinkler (right andrea?), designate some canning jars for fire flies and grill as many food stuffs as possible. oh and porch sit of course. are you ready?

i had to stare at the giraffe pic for a while because i was just amazed at how you capture not just it...but also the limbs...the sky...nature at her best...brava!
ahhh...the porch visits....those are truly the best in any living tale...
and the one of your three babies standing together is so out of this world...they are so adorable...the little is, i am sure, a heart throb for all...

summer vacation starts already? in norway kids still have a month left at school. when do your kids go back to school then? in norway school starts ca in the midle of august. so they have about two months off.
These photos are just incredible. I'm with you on the no-school-lunch to make joy. But these photos...wow.
