all good things. god, that dogwood! we walked to the tavern down the road for dinner. among other things, we had baked mushrooms with curried blue cheese.
oh the first porch sit is an extraordinary time...my daughter and i literally sat on a concrete porch at my grandma's house (really it was a concrete step, the same one my mom sat me on in a ruffled Easter Sunday dress in the 60s)...i like your baby's privilege and the time here is infinite...we're spending the weekend together, but separate...my guy is back and forth between his garage and the house...a glass of wine for me and a near finishing a great book...dinner was jasmine rice under zucchini, corn, salsa verde with cilantro and a little red meat...
