i like it
this is my 2000th picture on flickr. wow. i took this on my old pentax K1000, just your basic work horse 35mm. and i like it. i like everything about slowing down with film. i started back in may (really only in may??) because i was inspired by a pretty amazing lady. who isn't really though? anyway, i have all kinds of thoughts about beauty and life and everyday, but mostly i just wanted to share this picture with you. and tell you that i like it. which is sometimes hard to admit. we really should do it more often dont you think? admit we like our own creation? the answer is yes.

I like it too. . . your photo and your opinion about liking what we create!
I don't know much about photography but after seeing your amazing film photos I'm thinking it's time to ask my bro for his nice film camera. I might be asking you for some guidance.
i like it too. (and your new banner) all of you and your film...i'm getting itchy to pull out my old pentax. itchy, but stil hesitant, somehow.
your photos are beautiful.
your film is great and your digital is great. because, y'know what they say...it's not the camera, it's the photographer.
oh hannah. your photos always make me smile. xo
hi hannah, you're so right about slowing down with film. I'm very glad I found your flickr and blog, lottie x
oh hannah, you inspire me. everytime i see our film shots on flickr i just wonder why i put of shooting with it another day. digital makes it so easy, i guess.
2,000 good and happy shots, :)
i like it too. congrats on 2000!
ah yes.... liking your own work is always hard.... beautiful words! [and film oh yes]
i like it too!
dang - i need to get my old camera fixed and start shooting some film.
I also like it, but all that matters is that you do.
it's called confidence.
I like it too:) I agree, we really do need to appreciate our own creativity and what we make more often...
you are a smart woman-
absolutely! more people should be convinced about their own amazingness.
if you had told me two years ago i would be using not one, but TWO digital cameras, on a daily basis,
i would have slapped you right upside the head.
thanks so much for inspiring me to take more film.
i'm going out this weekend and clicking until i can't click no more.
