bff
our good friends john and kristen (you know, the ones with the crazy cool shoe store?) had their baby saturday. a sweet little boy named vance. i have yet to get a picture of this little one. oy. last night we tried to give j & k a little break and picked up margot, collettes bestest friend in the whole world, on our way to the park.
these two are like night and day. margot has blue eyes and ringlets, collette is brown as can be, but they just cant get enough of each other. they literally spent the first five minutes running in circles giggling and then stopped for a hug. whew. when did we stop doing this as adults? im doing more circles and hugs from now on.

SO sweet! And Vance is a cute name!
I love it when children connect with their friends...that is one great hug!
i loved these photos. they're starting a bit younger - but i have a best friend from when we were four - and every day, we'd meet halfway between our houses, running, arms wide - hug - then get on with the playing. :)
adulthood is so boring.
"I am, I am, I am the luckiest" -Ben Folds lyric...in honor of our little friends
I spend my days with 2 year olds and their love and joy for others is so intense and so infectious! I'm with you-more circles and hugs for everyone!
Oh the cuteness! I love how kids are so honest and pure with all their emotions (er, except some of the tantrum-related ones!) But the hugging and circles? Bring it on!
teeheehee
i love the idea of this,
the idea of adults
continuing to run around
each other in happy circles
and hug...
too cute
and what a great photo!
:)
definitely more hugs and circles!! love it. and i am really digging collette's pigtails. super cool.
Such adorable pics lately, and such lovely themes :)
oh my gossshhhh...
Margot's really improved her hugs from the "cheek-to-cheek hug" she was known for for so long. Awesome photo of the girls...I definitely need to get one of these for the scrapbook.
That's a very sweet story. Thanks for the reminder of circles and hugs. I'll have to follow your advice.
