about me. i love summer. i know its not summer yet, but i love warm weather, going barefoot on sun-warmed concrete, sitting on the porch, drinking smoothies and just general relaxation. i love the lazy twilight of summer, listening to the birds chatter at each other as they settle in for the night, watching the fireflies make their drunken way across the yard, and the ever so mild breeze that barely has the strength to flutter the wisps of hair tucked behind my ears. oh yes. i am a child of summer.

I love this photo. firstly, there's nothing sweeter than childrens feet. The colors of the photo are so great too; so soothing. And summer is the best. Great post.

Whereas I always thinking about the sticky heat and how my clothes cling to my body, masquito bites the vrrrooooommmming of the air conditioning, dodging wasps and bees and how ice will only last in my drinks for 3.2 seconds outdoors.

yes summer is GOOD,THE BEST!!!! our summer is just passing. we're all wimps down here and everyone was complaining yesterday when it was only 16 degrees. this photo is great and reminds me of warming up on the concrete surrounding the local pool when i was kid, it was boiling hot, would make your skin go red and then you'd jump back in the pool.
