yeah me too. it's funny how my adult brain is saying to me, man if i jump in those leaves, i'm going to get all dusty, have leaf bits in my shirt and mouth, it will be a pain to get them out of my hair etc etc... and yet i see no evidence in the slightest that they are thinking anything of the sort. i need to remind my adult brain to shut up every now and then.

Your photos are just breathtaking! Wow! I love these action shots. So cool.
Leave piles scare me because of possible dog poo surprises. How sad is that.
I have ruined one too many pairs of shoes by just getting out of a car to risk jumping into full on "nature" like that.

I don't know, it looks to me like Arlo is thinking the same thing you are.
we made a huuuuuge leaf pile in college once and i went careening into it with a major leap...and was completely shocked by how Not Soft it was and how fast my body slammed into the ground underneath. Those leaves don't really provide the kind of cushioning ya think they do... :) At least not once you're older!
Remember? Hell, I still DO that...once in awhile. Beautiful photos.
Funny: I always think--crap, I'm going to hurt myself somehow. I don't mind the dirty. It's the clumsy big-adult thing that prevents me from the fun. Perhaps we both could vow--you get a little more dusty, I'll get a little more reckless, and maybe we'll be turn out OK. :)
