case closed

i did it, i did it! i went down to the basement and had a little heart to heart with my sewing machine. we both agreed that we needed to get down to business, and with that i sewed my first ever project, a pillowcase for eliot!! it is this cool, retro airplane fabric. i will take a picture once my digital camera gets here. i found the instructions from this great blog called super eggplant, created by mariko, a very smart lady. thank you mariko!! i need to get down to business on eliots superhero cape for his birthday, but maybe i can sneak in a little tote bag before then...
